Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-25 // Last updated: 2026-10-25

This Privacy Policy explains how Simulator Arts LLC ("SimArts", "we", "us" or "our"), a company based in the United States, handles information in connection with the mobile game Combo 2: Stickman Fighting RPG for iOS and Android (app ID com.simulatorarts.combo2) (the "Game"). For our websites and other products, see our company Privacy Policy. If the two differ, this policy applies to the Game.

The short version

  • You don't need an account. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number to play. The hero name you choose stays on your device.
  • Your progress, settings and purchase records are saved on your device in an encrypted file, not on our servers.
  • We ask for your year of birth once, only to set the Game up for your age. Only your age group is kept, on your device.
  • Ads are optional: you choose to watch a rewarded ad for a reward. Personalized ads are only possible if you are 16 or older and you turn them on.
  • Gameplay stats (Unity Analytics) stay off unless you are 16 or older and you turn them on. You can turn them off at any time.
  • In-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
  • We don't sell your personal information.

1. Information stored on your device

The Game does not require you to create an account or sign in. The following is saved on your phone or tablet so the Game can work:

  • Game progress: your hero's level, gear, currencies, quests, region stars, combo mastery and similar game state.
  • Hero name: the name you give your hero. It is shown only in the Game.
  • Settings: for example language, graphics, sound, vibration and comfort settings.
  • Your age group and privacy choices (see Section 2).
  • Purchase records: which in-app products you own, so they can be applied and restored.

Your progress is kept in an encrypted, signed file inside the Game's storage on your device. We do not upload it to our servers, and we cannot see or recover it. Your device's own backups (such as iCloud or Google backups) may include it, depending on your device settings, which can let you restore your progress on a new device.

2. Your age group and privacy choices

The first time you open the Game, it asks for your year of birth so it can be set up for your age. Only your age group (under 13, 13 to 15, or 16 and over) is kept, on your device. Your age group decides what the Game offers:

  • Under 13: ads are always non-personalized, gameplay stats are not available, and purchases need a parent's confirmation in the Game (see Section 16).
  • 13 to 15: ads are always non-personalized, and gameplay stats are not available.
  • 16 and over: you can choose to allow personalized ads and to share gameplay stats. Both stay off unless you turn them on.

You also accept the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy before you play. The Game records, on your device, which version you accepted and when, and asks you again if we make significant changes. You can review or change your ad and stats choices at any time in Settings > Privacy.

3. Advertising

The Game has no banner ads and no ads between levels. The only ads are optional rewarded ads: you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward, up to 5 a day. Rewarded ads are delivered through Unity LevelPlay (an ad mediation platform from Unity Technologies) and the ad networks it works with. These partners act on their own behalf when they collect data through the ads they serve.

What ad partners may collect

  • Device advertising identifiers. On iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is only available if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; otherwise it is not shared. On Android, the Android Advertising ID may be used; you can reset or delete it in your device settings.
  • Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language, screen size, app version and network type.
  • IP address and coarse location derived from it (for example, country or city). The Game does not request precise GPS location.
  • Ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown, whether you tapped them, and whether a rewarded ad was completed.

Why

Ad partners use this information to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, only if you are 16 or older and have turned on personalized ads, show ads that are more relevant to you.

Your choices

  • Personalized ads are off by default. If you are 16 or older, you can turn them on or off at any time in Settings > Privacy. While they are off, the Game asks ad partners for non-personalized ads only and signals that you have opted out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
  • Younger players: for players under 16, ads are always non-personalized and the Game also tells ad partners to treat the request as coming from a child-directed context, so their child-protection rules apply.
  • iOS: you can change tracking permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google or Privacy > Ads settings (the exact menu depends on your device).
  • No Ads: the optional "No Ads" purchase gives you rewarded-ad rewards instantly, without watching an ad (the daily limit still applies).

4. In-app purchases

The Game offers optional in-app purchases. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies. We never receive your payment card number, bank details or billing address.

When you make or restore a purchase, the store gives the Game a purchase receipt or transaction record (for example a transaction ID, the product purchased, and the date). The Game checks it on your device, using the store's signature, to deliver and restore what you bought and to help prevent fraud. Receipts are not sent to our servers. If the Game knows that you are under 13, it asks for a parent's confirmation before a purchase.

5. Gameplay stats (optional)

If you are 16 or older, you can choose to share gameplay statistics with us through Unity Analytics, part of Unity Gaming Services from Unity Technologies, which processes the data for us. This is off unless you turn it on, on the first-launch screen or in Settings > Privacy. While it is on, the Game sends:

  • gameplay events, such as tutorial steps finished, regions cleared and stars earned, bosses defeated, quests completed, and which store products were bought (never payment details);
  • session information, such as when you start and stop playing;
  • device and app information, such as device model and hardware, operating system, language, app version, and country derived from your IP address;
  • a random identifier created for the Game on your device, which is not linked to your name or contact details.

We use these statistics in aggregate to balance difficulty, fix problems and improve the Game. We don't use them for advertising and don't combine them with ad data. If you turn gameplay stats off, the Game stops sending them and asks Unity to delete the data collected from your device.

If you have not turned gameplay stats on, or if you are under 16, the Game sends no gameplay stats at all.

6. Fair play checks

To keep the Game fair, it runs checks on your device. For example, your save file is signed so that tampering can be detected, and the Game notices if the device clock is moved back to speed up timers. These checks run locally; their results stay on your device and are not sent to us.

7. Crash reports from Apple and Google

If you have chosen in your device settings to share diagnostics or usage data with app developers, Apple or Google may give us crash reports and performance data about the Game. These reports come to us aggregated or without your identity, and we use them only to fix bugs and improve performance.

8. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to attach (such as screenshots, device details or a purchase receipt). We use it only to answer you and handle your request.

9. How and why we use information

  • To run the Game and save your progress on your device.
  • To deliver and restore in-app purchases.
  • To show the optional rewarded ads that keep the Game free, and to grant their rewards.
  • To prevent cheating and fraud and keep the Game secure.
  • If you turn on gameplay stats, to understand how the Game is played and improve it.
  • To respond to support requests and privacy requests.
  • To comply with the law and app store requirements.

If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, our legal bases are: consent (for personalized advertising, gameplay stats and, where required, related device storage or access); performance of a contract (to provide the Game and the items you purchase); legitimate interests (to keep the Game secure, prevent fraud and fix crashes reported by the app stores, balanced against your rights); and legal obligations.

10. Who we share information with

  • Unity Technologies, for rewarded ads (Unity LevelPlay, as described in Section 3) and, only if you turn them on, gameplay stats (Unity Analytics, Section 5).
  • Ad networks that Unity LevelPlay works with, as described in Section 3.
  • Apple and Google, which run the app stores and process purchases.
  • Authorities or others when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our players, us or others.
  • A successor business if SimArts or the Game is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. This policy will continue to apply to information transferred.

We do not sell your personal information for money. See Section 14 for how U.S. state laws treat advertising.

11. International transfers

SimArts is based in the United States, and our partners operate around the world. Where information is transferred out of the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on safeguards recognized by law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or our partners' equivalent commitments.

12. How long we keep information

  • On your device: until you delete the Game, clear its data, or use Settings > Privacy > Delete data.
  • Gameplay stats: only as long as useful to improve the Game, within Unity's retention limits, and deleted sooner if you turn gameplay stats off or ask us.
  • Support emails: for as long as needed to resolve your request, and then for a limited time for record-keeping, unless you ask us to delete them sooner where the law allows.
  • Data held by ad partners and app stores: according to their own retention policies.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
  • complain to your local data protection authority (for example, in the EEA, or the UK Information Commissioner's Office).

If you live in Türkiye, you also have the rights listed in Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK), and you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority.

Because the Game has no accounts and keeps your progress on your device, we usually hold very little information that we can link to you. The quickest way to remove gameplay stats is to turn them off in Settings > Privacy. For anything else, email us; including your device's advertising ID or a purchase transaction ID helps us find what we hold. We will respond within the time the law requires (for example, one month under the GDPR and UK GDPR) and may need to verify your request first.

14. U.S. state privacy rights (including California)

If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or its use for targeted advertising; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

In the last 12 months, the categories of personal information collected through the Game have been limited to: identifiers (such as advertising IDs, IP address and the Game's random analytics identifier), internet or other electronic network activity (such as ad interactions and, if turned on, gameplay events), approximate geolocation derived from IP address, and commercial information (purchase records). We do not collect sensitive personal information.

We do not sell personal information for money. Personalized ads, which may count as "selling" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) and similar laws, are off unless a player aged 16 or older turns them on. To opt out at any time, turn off personalized ads in Settings > Privacy, limit tracking in your device settings (see Section 3), or email us with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share". We do not sell or share the personal information of players we know to be under 16.

You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will respond within 45 days, or let you know if we need more time as permitted by law.

15. How to delete your data

  • Data on your device: use Settings > Privacy > Delete data, which permanently deletes your progress, hero name and choices on that device. Uninstalling the Game or clearing its app data (Android) does the same. Permanent purchases can be restored later with the same Apple or Google account.
  • Gameplay stats: turn gameplay stats off in Settings > Privacy. The Game then asks Unity to delete the data collected from your device.
  • Advertising identifiers: reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off tracking permission, in your device settings.
  • Data held by us or our partners: email [email protected] with the subject "Combo 2 Data Deletion Request". We will delete what we hold (such as support emails) and, where we can, pass deletion requests on to our partners. Including your advertising ID helps us do this.
  • Directly with partners: Unity and the ad networks also let you exercise your rights with them directly, for example under Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.

16. Children

The Game is made for a general audience and asks for a year of birth before play, without suggesting any particular answer. If a player tells us they are under 13:

  • gameplay stats and personalized ads are not available, so we do not collect their personal information for analytics or behavioral advertising;
  • rewarded ads stay optional and non-personalized, and the Game tells ad partners that the request comes from a child-directed context (for example under the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), so their child-protection rules apply;
  • purchases need a parent's confirmation in the Game;
  • the Game asks the player to read the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy together with a parent.

A parent or guardian can ask us to delete any information we hold about their child by emailing [email protected]. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without the consent the law requires, we will delete it.

17. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, and we choose partners that do the same. Your progress is encrypted (AES-256) and signed inside the Game's storage on your device, which your device's operating system also protects. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Game or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change is significant, the Game will ask you to review and accept it before you keep playing.
